Elena was visiting Puerto Rico and wanted photos at some of the Instagram-worthy spots in Old San Juan. I planned out a route and we hit quite a few spots. We walked a loop, starting near El Morro at the Plaza del Quinto Centenario. We stopped at Iglesia de San José on Calle del Cristo, the Puerto Rican flag doors on Calle San José and Calle Imperial, random spots on the street on Calle de San Sebastián, the Ángel de Boricua mural at LA TI TA, out to the fort wall at Bastión de Ánimas, and back up to El Morro. She wore these awesome stilettos in a bunch of her photos, but walking on the streets of Old San Juan with its uneven surfaces can be tricky in skinny heels. I highly recommend bringing flip-flops for walking between locations. I added that handy tip to my portrait style guide after this session. :)
