This sweet couple wanted to renew their commitment to one another for their fifth anniversary. After overcoming some personal challenges, they were all the more committed to their marriage "til death," and wanted to make that the theme for their vow renewal ceremony. Lacey's family has taken care of a cemetery in Maine for multiple generations and the couple just loves this cemetery in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, so they decided on the cemetery as their location. I never thought I'd shoot a wedding / vow renewal in a cemetery, but I gotta say, this is a really beautiful cemetery! Located right on the water with a beautiful sea of white statues and crosses, the Cementerio Santa María Magdalena de Pazzis made for a lovely backdrop for their special day. We also took just a few photos inside of the Condado Vanderbilt Hotel. I was so honored to capture these memories for them, and I look forward to seeing them again on their next trip to Puerto Rico.
